October 6– Dave Kelley will play along with our 1st annual art exhibit. He will incorporate his mandolin and acoustic guitar to fulfill an appropriate vibe. The Market will be packed with vendors and the following local artists:
Gina is a painter and printmaker whose work is inspired by her passion for the natural world, her travels, and the landscapes and folkways of the Delaware Bayshore, where she resides. Often tinkering with other art forms including photography, calligraphy, and collage, her resume includes a school mural, set decoration for a local original play, and inclusion in the inaugural Cape May Fringe Festival (2018). A member of The Artists’ Guild of the Cape (Cape May NJ), Gina will welcome folks into her Down Jersey art studio on Saturday October 13 as part of the group’s Studio Tour Weekend.
Lisa is a seasoned performing/visual artist living and working in Philadelphia. In 2013, she began investigating a deep interest in fine art. She worked with medium after medium to finally discover a fascination with the reflective shield and unpredictability of Resin Art making. Her works range from 8” 8” pieces to 48” 60” and she is planning to go bigger! Her inspiration comes from her 20 year study of classical and contemporary movements and her endless interest in celestial imagery.
“I believe everything in this world is connected. The movements of our lives together here on Earth are not the same movements but are happening at the same times. We are here together and because of that we are affecting the whole picture. Our physical and behavioral movements are affecting everything around us.”
Katherine Sandecki is a native of NJ and paints in oil. Her favorite subject matter are Maine landscapes, animals, and still life. She has studied at The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Fleischer Art Memorial, and has participated in summertime workshops with Paul Dusold and Jon Redmond. Continuing Education at Repenning Fine Arts in Audubon NJ. She has had Exhibits at the College of physicians in Philadelphia and at Twenty Two Gallery, also in Philadelphia
October 13- The Frank Cervantes Duo will open our final market from 10.15am through 12.15pm
They will be followed at 1pm by the NJ Turnpike Ramblers
This Saturday is Fall Festival. with Scarecrow making and lots happening on the Highway!
